the rooms were large and the beds and pillows very very comfortable
i paid an extra $30 for an ocean view which was a bit of the harbour where the industrial area was if i had known that i would have stayed in the city view room i think they should have explained that to me.
Staff were very helpful.
The room I had was a bit shabby for the price.
The restaurant and it's staff were excellent. Service was efficient and friendly while the meals were reasonably priced and of excellent quality.
The appearance of the hotel when approached from the carpark left a little to be desired.
Cleaning staff awesome and friendly staff everywhere.
Very expensive but close to some city shops. Builders drilling and hammering during the day was annoying with a young child napping. Felt it was overpriced but all of Gladstone was.
Its location to the course I was running.
The internet pictures do not much the room I got. The pool was out of order and I was looking forward to a swim, internet didnt state it was out of action. In room 201 there is a gap runs right round the roof. The hot tap fellow off on my husbands foot, its quite heavey from that distance. Tv reception not very good.
We got room 301 and seemingly it is the best as refurbished. Would have liked the same room with a city view but it was ok....Thought it bit strange however that the mini bar was not under shelving but free standing in room? And no extractor in bathroom? And in the bed surround there should have been 2 lamps but there was only 1 and there was a hole in the bed surround where the other one should have been? If returning would request that room or room of similar standing
Oh getting wakened 3 times on the day of our departure...before time for checking out......seemed to be some communication issue with housekeeping and reception
Rydges Gladstone they have frezz money from my account there bank are very poor safe members no exp at all I got late for my car payment in melb because of then on the phone recp very poor
The hotel is looking a bit tired and is over-priced due to the demand in Gladstone for accommodation.
Location close to town was good.
Rooms and verandah too small.
